About Our Team: Edna Irving

Edna joined Alpha Practice Sales in 1994.

Edna obtained her real estate broker’s license in 2005. She shares husband Ray’s passion for educating clients and providing for their specific needs.

Along with her education and training, Edna’s instinct for human relations and diligent nature enable her to gracefully facilitate our clients’ transitions in selling their dental practices. Providing a very important critical eye, she enhances each engagement.

Education

Edna’s educational background that has brought her expertise to this field includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Relations and Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco; a Master’s Degree in Psychology/Organization Development from Sonoma State University; three years of post-graduate studies in a Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology with a Certificate in Expressive Art Therapy from the Institute of Imaginal Studies.

Experience

Edna’s work and business experiences have provided her a range of administrative and leadership roles. The following are some of her past professional positions: Organization Development Facilitator/Recorder with Wolf-Corey Associates in Napa; Trainer of Leaders, Delegate, School Organizer, Event Chairperson and Troop Leader for San Francisco Bay Girl Scout Council; Senior Account Representative for Bank Card Sales and the Marketing Department for Bank of America, San Francisco; Past President and Area Governor for Toastmasters’ International and extensive travel as Crew Member with Royal Viking Line, Oslo, Norway.

Personal

Edna has been married to Ray for 38 years, and is the mother of two children, Evie and Trevor. She is an active volunteer in her community.

Edna is a life-long learner focusing on a systematic approach to health. Her curious and positive attitude has enabled her to approach life’s challenges of personal and professional development as a wife, mother and businessperson.

Her latest love (because she is always evolving) is golf. More than a sport, the process of playing is a symbiotic correlation to life, where change is the only constant factor. She hopes to share her love of learning as you traverse through your experience in your career transition.
